Using off the shelf Openbuilds parts, the build Fence is three C-beams on gantries. The two base C-Beams have C-Beam Gantries which slide the inner lenght of the channel. The C-beam fence is mounted vertically by two L brackets. The Fence is kept in place by a toggle clamp that is screwed into the end of the C beam fence. The fence remains square to the rails, is rock solid when clamped, and handily holds Kreg stops, featherboards, and holding clamps. The screws in the channels are part of the next step which sill be to motorize the positioning of the rail. PS I couldn't figure out how to remove images that were double loaded..
Table saw fence and guide
The idea was to build a proof of concept table saw fence similar to a thru-rip or accusquare fences which retail for 400$, with the added option to motorize the positioning.
